To determine if your iPhone supports eSIM, follow the steps below:
- Check for “Add eSIM” option:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap on “Cellular” or “Mobile Data“.
- If you see “Add eSIM,” your iPhone supports eSIM.
- Check for IMEI under “Digital SIM“:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap on “General“.
- Tap on “About“.
- Scroll down to find the “Digital SIM” or “Available SIM” section.
- If you see a 15-digit IMEI number listed there, your iPhone supports eSIM.
- Check Carrier Lock Status:
- Navigate to Settings > General > About.
- Scroll down to the “Carrier Lock” section.
- If it says “No SIM restrictions,” your device is unlocked and can use eSIM.
If you’re still unsure, contact your network provider or visit an Apple Store for assistance, or check the list of supported devices.
To determine if your Android supports eSIM, follow the steps below:
Method 1: Checking SIM Manager Settings
- Open the Settings app on your Android phone.
- Tap on Connections (or similar, like “Network & Internet”).
- Tap on SIM Manager (or SIM card manager).
- Look for an option to Add eSIM or Download a Mobile plan.
- If this option is present, your phone is eSIM compatible.
Method 2: Checking for EID (Embedded Identity Document)
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap on About phone.
- Scroll down to Device details or SIM Status.
- If you see an EID number listed, your phone supports eSIM.
Method 3: Checking for eSIM option under Network & Internet
- Open Settings
- Tap on Network & Internet
- Tap on SIMs or Mobile network
- If you see an option to Download a SIM instead? or Add eSIM your phone supports eSIM.

Yes, you can insert local SIM card to any Cherry Roam Travel Pocket Wifi, recommended for local data usage only.
There is no data package currently available for Philippines, but you can use the device by inserting local SIM card with registered data plan in the device SIM slot.
- For G3: You can simply plug the cable into USB port of the Cherry Roam device then connect the cable to your mobile device.
- For T2 Slim and U50: You will need the OTG cable attached to device.
Cherry Roam provides a seven (7) day replacement policy and a one (1) year free service warranty to units, which are not artificially damaged from the date of purchase or delivery receipt.
- For Cherry Roam G3 (Rental Device) & Cherry Roam T2 Slim and Cherry Roam 5G U50 you can see your data usage on the screen.
- For Cherry Roam T1 Style you can check your data usage on Cherry Roam app.
Turn ON your Cherry Roam device and click “LOG-IN”. The device QR Code will appear.
- Download CHERRY ROAM APP in your smartphone (Android and IOS available) then, log-in to your account and click “My Device”
- Click “ACTIVATE” then select “Scan the QR Code” in the Cherry Home App to pair. A notification will appear upon successful pairing.
- Once paired, the device will now reflect in your app.
- Reboot your Cherry Roam device
- Wait for your device to connect. It may take up to 1-2minutes and then ready to serve you

The Cherry Roam Travel Pocket Wifi Rental can be claimed via store pick up or delivery.
Delivery fee will vary depending on your delivery address / location.
